Meet Annelies, Salesforce Life Sciences Consultant
Learning, responsibilities and growth
From the start, I was actively involved in ongoing projects, and Medminds’ transparency with clients meant I was quickly given meaningful responsibilities. I received a lot of trust, combined with the right level of guidance, which helped me grow quickly while still feeling supported.
Even as a starter, projects are carefully matched to your schedule and experience, with your availability and personal agenda always taken into account. At the same time, you’re encouraged to plan your own learning path, and while experienced colleagues offer valuable advice, you’re given plenty of autonomy to shape your development and gain certifications.

Teamwork and vision
I am also involved in discussions about the future vision of the team. My teams supports me when needed but also trust me to handle tasks independently. There is no hierarchy barrier, and you never feel like management is sitting in an ivory tower.

Company Culture
The company provides all the tools and resources you need. There are also social events and evening activities, which are always optional. In addition, there are enablement sessions organized by Salesforce where you are encouraged to learn new things and share your knowledge with others. Networking is also highly valued. Meeting people outside the company, even from competing organizations, is encouraged.

Work-life balance
Work-life balance is extremely important to me, especially since I have two children. I currently work two days per week at the office, and the rest can be done remotely.
The company is very flexible. As long as your work is done and you meet your responsibilities, you can organize your time freely.
If I need to make an errand during the day, that is completely acceptable. I started on December 1st, and even during the holiday season I was allowed to take time off. They are flexible with vacations, as long as everything is aligned with the team and projects.
Recruitment process
The process started with a one-on-one meeting to get to know each other. Only afterwards we went deeper into technical content. I had to complete and present a case, which was directly related to the actual job.
The people at Medminds value communication and collaboration. You are encouraged to ask questions during the case, and you are allowed to contact them if you get stuck.
Mindset and growth opportunities
The main mentality is: communicate. Curiosity and openness are strongly encouraged. There is a path to grow for everyone. For example, you could even grow into an architect role if that fits your ambitions.
The company supports exploration and experimentation. You are given space to discover what suits you best. The focus isn’t on your diploma, but on your mindset and motivation.
